MIR Hardwood Design specializes in selection, fabrication, installation, finishing of high-end custom hardwood floors and stair cases.
   The firm participates on historic restorations of modern homes, extensive renovations and large ground-up residences from 2,000 square foot to 18,000 square foot mansions, with 3,000 to 5,000 more typical.
   Clients include the likes of actors Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Geoge Lopez, photographer Steven Meisel and musician Anthony Kiedis.
Principals of the firm are Irina Ivashin, who holds a graduate design degree from Ukrainian National Art Institute, and Mark Chaplya, who holds a BA in science from Lvov University.
   Most of MIR Hardwood Design residential projects take place in the greater Los Angeles area, in neighborhoods like Beverly Hills, Bel Air and Malibu
